Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why is ORCID iD required for every submission?

IJIESIA requires ORCID authentication at the time of each manuscript submission.

  • ORCID authentication during submission is mandatory.
  • This is different from simply linking your ORCID iD in your profile settings.
  • Even if your ORCID iD is linked in your profile, authentication is still required during submission.

  • Peer review: Once reviewers are invited, the review process generally takes around 2–3 weeks on average, depending on how quickly reviewers accept the invitation and complete the review.
  • Total review duration: In many cases the full review cycle may take up to 4 weeks, although decisions may be made earlier depending on reviewer response time.
  • Production: After the manuscript is accepted and any required revisions are completed, the article typically moves to production and publication within 1–2 weeks.

Please note that these timelines are approximate and may vary depending on reviewer response time, revision requirements, and editorial workload.
