The International Journal of IoT, Embedded Systems and Industrial Automation (IJIESIA) is a fully open access, peer-reviewed journal. All published articles are made freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or access barriers.

Current APC Policy

At present, IJIESIA does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs).

• No submission fees
• No publication fees
• No article processing fees

Authors may submit, publish, and access articles in the journal free of charge.

Open Access Model

IJIESIA follows a full open access publishing model, ensuring that all accepted articles are immediately and permanently accessible online upon publication.

Future APC Policy

Article Processing Charges may be introduced in the future to support journal sustainability, including editorial management, peer-review administration, production services, digital hosting, indexing, and long-term archiving.

If APCs are introduced:

• The charges will be clearly announced on this page in advance.
• The APC amount, currency, and payment process will be transparently stated.
• Waiver and discount policies will be made available where applicable.
• Authors will be informed prior to acceptance and invoicing.

No fees will be applied retroactively to articles submitted or accepted before any APC policy change.

Payment Methods (When Applicable)

If APCs are introduced, authors will be provided with secure payment instructions. Accepted payment methods may include:

• Bank Transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS or equivalent international transfer methods)
• Secure Online Payment Gateway (if enabled)
• Other officially communicated payment channels

Detailed payment instructions, including transaction references and invoice details, will be provided only after manuscript acceptance.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

If APCs are introduced in the future:

• Payments are generally non-refundable once the production process has started.
• Refunds may be considered only in cases of duplicate or erroneous transactions.
• Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
• Any transaction or processing charges deducted by banks or payment providers may not be refundable.

Waivers and Discounts

If APCs are implemented, the journal intends to provide waivers or discounts for authors with limited funding or from under-resourced regions. Details will be published alongside any future APC policy.
